Entre Ríos is an Argentinean electronic pop band, born in 2000 in Buenos Aires, originally formed by Sebastián Carreras, Gabriel Lucena and Isol. Sebastian and Gabriel previously worked together in the duo Tus hermosos, having edited the CD Anatomy of Melancholy (1998).

In 2005 Isol left the group the release of their album Onda. She was replaced by Paula Meijide, who was part of the band until 2006. In 2008, Rosario Ortega and Romina Dangelo joined Entre Ríos as the vocalist and drummer respectively. They have performed many gigs around Spain and Latin America, and were a big influence for other groups such as Miranda! and Belanova.

Entre Ríos has released its albums in Argentina, Spain, the United States and Mexico, achieving more diffusion in Argentina after having adapted in 2005 the song "Hoy No" (Sal - 2003) for an advertising campaign of Quilmes beer, one of the most popular in the country.

Entre Rios has toured several countries besides Argentina: Spain (2002, 2003, 2004); Chile (2004, 2005, 2006); Colombia (2004); Mexico (2004); Peru (2005) and Uruguay (2006). After a break of almost two years the group begins to record a new album in early 2008 with the contribution of different voices. The album is titled Entre Rios and has two new members: Rosario Ortega in voice and Romina Dangelo on drums. The first video clip of the album is called "Early".

Entre Rios has been the pioneering band of the genre in Latin America, and has inspired other bands later, influencing to a large extent with their rhythms and style. Outstanding examples of this are the cases of Belanova in Mexico and Miranda! in Argentina, to name a few. In 2011 the band stops playing live with a rock format after the presentation of their album Era.

Entre Rios in 2012 and 2013 was producing songs for the SAGA audiovisual installation. During 2013 the group made 4 interventions as a representation of the installation concept, in addition to publishing the "Catalog SAGA Interventions", in homonymous CD (Ultrapop). This happened in art galleries in Buenos Aires.

In the interventions Entre Rios developed a sound & vision performance where the viewer can share the experience in an "installation" environment. Each of the interventions took the name of a song and that song was deconstructed live. This was done according to the artistic concept to be developed in the SAGA installation, followed by the repertoire of songs of the group, in each intervention.

Yerba Brava is an Argentine group of cumbia villera, formed in 1999 in San Fernando, locality of Greater Buenos Aires.

In 1998 a group of young people decided to form a band of cumbia that defines like "sonidera" and testimonial. It presents a style similar to the Colombian cumbia and it exposes in its letters histories and own experiences and everything that hurts them, it rejoices or it passionates.

The idea of forming a group arose thinking about how to help the most needy people: they organized festivals and tried to give a hand to some little one that needed it. The group was born with Juan Carlos "El Monito" Ponce, in voice, Ezequiel, Martín, Pablo, Beto and Víctor - that later passed by "Flower of Stone". At that time they made covers of La Nueva Luna, Shadows and other fashion groups. Due to internal problems, the group disbanded, but after a while they rearm it and decided to call themselves: Yerba Mala, because they believed that as the saying goes: "It never dies", but when they wanted to register the name they found that it already been taken, so they settled for Yerba Brava.

At that moment one of the boys brought the lyrics of the song "Pibe Cantina" and that style seemed interesting. Then they recorded the demo with that song and continued rehearsing, always hoping to record it. Songs with a lot of rhythm and very easy to dance cover topics such as when a friend returns from jail in - "La Canción Del Yuta"; the passion to encourage their teams on the pitch - "The Cumbia De Los Rag" or the discrimination they suffer from living in an shanty villa - "Discriminated." We could say that its origins were prehistory of what is today cumbia villera. It is said that "Pibe Cantina" was a kind of reprisal (what in other genera is usually called Beef or Tiradera) by the departure of Victor Cantina and its subsequent incorporation to Flor de Piedra, initiating a rivalry between both bands, despite to belong to the same label (Leader Music)

Finally, in the year 2000 came "Cumbia Villera", his first and long awaited album, which in a short time turned to surprise many in Platinum Disc and the song "The Cumbia De Los Rags" was adopted by all the fans as an infallible hymn. In a few months, Yerba Brava became a phenomenon not only musical but also social. Little by little, their agenda of actions, which led them to cross the country's borders, increased the respect and recognition of the Chilean, Paraguayan and Bolivian public. Although it is also heard in the bars of Peruvian, Ecuadorian, Colombian and Venezuelan teams.

Yerba Brava presented their second album, 100% Villero, which follows the line that marked them as one of the most important bands of the tropical movement, which includes songs such as "De Que Te La Das" (according to them: "inspired by those who started the famous "Guerra De Las Villas" and forgot their true roots ")," Chicos Del Andén "," El Fuerte "," Aguanten "and" Sos Mi Pasión ", all lyrics inspired by things daily and real of the most discriminated classes.

The most successful songs were "Pibe Cantina" and "La Cumbia De Los Trapos", engaging the audience with its mix of neighborhood corner and court board. The set sounds today in all the discs of the country, since its subjects have achieved the crossover so awaited by so many artists. Also, the song "La Cumbia De Los Trapos" began to sing on Argentine and South American soccer fields, it is the cry of encouragement that comes down from the stands for the team to win. Such was its success that they made an exclusive version for the Copa America 2011.

In 2002, "El Monito" decided to leave the band for differences with the producers, and was replaced by Oscar Belondi, a young singer who had participated in bands like Los Boys and Red. Yerba Brava with Oscar, begins to distance himself from the current more trasgresora of the cumbia villera (with Free Checkers and Pibes Chorros as exponents), allowing a change of sound and a more pop rhythm, combining with salsa, murga and reggaeton rhythms. His lyrics are cheerful, full of optimism and in some of his songs they sing to love. His catchy and fast paced music is contagious and invites you to dance. This new wave is translated in the third disc work of the band, Running the coneja. In it, we found topics like "Hay Que Buscar", "Mi Naso", "Vamos A Bailar", which were the most chanted by the audience that finds in this band the contestatario and the hundred percent bailab.

July 2003, Yerba Brava launches its fifth production De Culo, undoubtedly the best work of the group. Two topics that really are two super themes that immediately make the audience fanatic: The CuCu Watch and Naty Bum Bum. In September 2003, the group made the recordings of what will be their sixth album, and again was recorded live. Oscar Belondi, who with his charisma knew to lead Yerba Brava to lead the rankings and the preferences of the public, creator in addition to successful bands like La Base and Eh !!! Guacho, started a new project after his departure from Yerba in 2004: La Repandilla, a band made up of 14 musicians.

After the departure of Belondi from Yerba Brava, a new singer "Santi Cairo" arrives with the recording of the records of Nunca Se Acaba, Volando Alto, Con Buena Leche. Then they released the 20 Most Successful Topics in the History of Yerba Brava and called it "20 Great Exitos"

Santiago Cairo, born in the city of Campana, with only 18 years, took on the burdon leading one of the most emblematic bands of the tropical Argentine movement. Well from below began the work of Santiago, who with humility and talent, created hits like "Cosas del amor" "Ya no llores" "Perdoname" "Baila la negra" among others .. Adding fans and a huge affection of the people who I saw it for the first time, I became number one in sales, with the label Leader Music. They were 5 years of experience, touring all corners, not only the country, but also managed to impose their music in countries such as Mexico, United States and Spain, becoming an assured success. Santiago Cairo, next to Yerba Brava ..

After the departure of Santiago, the band took a break to return in 2009, this time with Gasty and Ariel (Ex-Eh Guacho) presenting the album 4th Generation. His live performances maintained a lively and lively style. The duo lasted just over a year, since then only Gastón Calderón would remain as leader of the band. The band with him has several presentations and even return to Mexico and other places of the continent. However in the middle of 2014 "Gasty" decides to leave the band to start another project and the producer "Púa" performs a Casting to decide who would be the next vocalist. After the presentation of the new leader of the group Maxi Diaz (Former member of the group "La Rama"). Yerba Brava continued with his presentations until March 2016, where he decided to leave the group to return with La Rama.

On March 17, 2014, Juan Carlos "El Monito" Ponce died of a stroke at 49 years of age. His death echoed not only in the tropical movement, but throughout society as Ponce was one of the founders of Cumbia Villera.1

The 6th Generation begins, with the usual classics and new themes like "Aprendiendo", "La última birra" with Agustín Luna, as the new leader voice. This boy from the neighborhood of La Paternal goes through a great present, he again raised Yerba Brava, now they do their shows in Passion of Saturday and are contracted throughout the Country. As it has transcended he was on the payroll to go to the "Dancing 2017" program by Marcelo Tinelli. But not being so well known, say that for the coming year would come the proposal. However for lack of responsibility and commitment with the band, Agustín Luna was 'retired' from the band . In August of 2017 the new voice of Yerba Brava, Cristian Ruben Espinosa (Ex.Guachín) is announced. Being released the new single of the band, called "Agitando el trapo". Yerba Brava lives on...

Otros Aires is a Tango / Electrotango band started in Barcelona, Spain and continued in Buenos Aires Argentina by Argentine musician and architect Miguel Di Genova. With an archaeological-electronic tango imprint the project mixed sounds of the early twentieth century (Gardel, Razzano, D`arienzo, among others) with electronic music and other contemporary sounds.

From its origins it emerged as an eminently audiovisual show. Created in Barcelona by Argentine musician and architect Miguel Di Genova, Other Aires broke into the Mediterranean scene with the collaboration of the Catalans Toni Cubedo (bass) and Josep Lluis Guart (piano), in Sound System format. Over in Buenos Aires, Other Aires acquires its definitive color with the incorporations of the bandoneonist Hugo Satorre, the drummer Emmanuel Mayol and the keyboardist Pablo Lasala, consolidating a sound of its own within the genre known as electronic tango.

After filming for innumerable events in the Argentine capital, on December 11, 2004, National Tango Day, Other Aires presented its first album at the Casa Carlos Gardel museum, on the occasion of the famous singer's birthday. The rapid international success of the band took them in 2006 to an extensive European tour with concerts in Germany, Holland, Poland, Greece and Turkey.

In 2007, they released Otra Aires dos with the band formed by: Diego Ramos on piano, Omar Massa on bandoneon, Manu Mayol on drums and Miguel Di Genova on vocals, guitar, electronic sequences and artistic production. In 2008 and with the same line-up Other Aires publishes a live album called Vivo in Otros Aires together with a documentary of the band of the same name. The live record was recorded at the Teatro ND Ateneo in Buenos Aires and in several European countries. The documentary is an audiovisual route that connects Buenos Aires with the rest of the world following the steps of the group. The film ¨Vivo en Otros Aires¨ was made by director Santiago Saponi.

On May 25, 2010, the day of the Argentine bicentennial, after 6 years of career, 2 studio albums, 1 live album, 1 documentary DVD and 14 tours throughout Europe, North America and South America (covering more than 50 cities), Otros Aires releases their third studio album. Otros Aires Tricota is definitely an acoustic hinge between Buenos Aires tradition and modernity. Recorded with the collaboration of the typical orchestra Erica Di Salvo, this album delves into the fundamental structures of the orchestral tango, sometimes pondering them and subverting them, thus deconstructing and reconstructing a genre that has been boiling since its beginnings. years. Today, Otros Aires takes a fundamental step in the development of the music of Buenos Aires: for the first time the typical orchestra and the electronic one coincide in a common project.
